Product selection: what converts right now

You can make brilliant content about a product nobody wants — and earn zero. You can make average content about the right product — and earn meaningfully. Stage 2 is the shift from 'I shoot whatever' to 'I shoot what works'.
The three-question filter before publishing
(1) Does it convert for others? Trendweave's catalog has products with CR 3–5× above the niche median — usually 'familiar' items people buy on impulse. (2) Does it match my niche? If you're minimalist office wear, don't publish heavy bridal lehenga even if the commission rate is higher — your audience won't buy it. (3) Does the price fit my audience's wallet? If 80% of your followers are in tier-2/3, a ₹4,500 product will under-convert simply because the budget isn't there.
Where to look
The Brands section in the cabinet shows five active retailers with their maximum rates (Ajio, H&M, Shopsy, Tata CLiQ, Myntra). Open each to see sub-category splits. Inside each sub-category, Trendweave surfaces actively selling items at the top — this is the simplest way to find a 'hot' product this week.
Test batch — three products, five days
Don't drop 15 products at once: you'll drown in data. Pick three from one sub-category (say, three pure-cotton kurtis), publish one shoppable post per product. After five days open Statistics and look at three numbers: clicks, CR, commission. One of the three usually outperforms by 3–5× — that becomes the 'theme' of your next 5–10 posts.
What not to do
Don't publish products outside your niche just because the rate is high. Don't chase a trend that isn't yours. Don't copy-paste everything from the top catalog — the copy-paste effect breaks your post insights.
Key takeaway: In Stage 2, it's not who shoots more posts who wins — it's who publishes the right products. Selection quality > publication quantity.
Next step: Open Brands → pick one retailer whose niche is closest to yours → choose three products from one sub-category and publish over a week. After five days — Statistics, compare three numbers.
