Stage 1 — Understanding the SystemMust

What you must NOT promise creators

What you must NOT promise creators

A scout is the first impression a creator gets of Trendweave. If you exaggerate in a DM, the creator registers on false expectations and drops out in the first two weeks when they see reality. Your fix bonus won't unfreeze, revenue share won't start, and in the worst case the payout can be revoked for misleading promises. This lesson is a gate — pass the 5/5 quiz to unlock the Share function.

What you must categorically NOT promise

Specific amounts — 'you'll earn ₹50,000 a month' — never; earnings depend on niche, audience, activity, festive windows. Specific timing — 'you'll activate in 24 hours', 'money comes in 3 days'; activation can take a day, a week, or longer, and it depends on the creator. 'An exclusive offer just for you' — a scout's terms are default; creating false urgency is a violation. Authority on Trendweave's behalf — you're an independent scout, not staff, not HR, not an agent. Vague claims — 'guaranteed income', 'zero risk', 'passive money' get the same negative reaction from ASCI and the platform.

What you CAN say

Real platform mechanics (5% rev share, 12 months default, ₹2,000 minimum withdrawal, 5 active fashion retailers). Your own result with a screenshot from the dashboard — 'I brought a creator who made ₹X in a month' is fine if true. Conditional phrasing — 'active fashion creators reach ₹5–15K/month with consistent posting, but your result depends on your activity'. An honest declaration of your own interest — 'I get a fix plus a percentage of your sales, so it's in my interest for you to earn'.

What happens on a violation

Trendweave tracks recruiting patterns. If a creator writes to support 'I was promised X and there's no X', the scout's fix bonus can be revoked and review on their other brought creators is tightened. Systematic violations mean dropping out of the programme.

Why this lesson is a gate

Without passing the 5/5 quiz, the Share function for your links stays inactive. One new scout promising ₹50K can cost dozens of honest scouts their reputation with creators.

Key takeaway: Be honest and you earn slower but steadily. Exaggerate and you take off in the first month, then burn out in the second.

Next step: Pass the 5/5 gating quiz at the end of this lesson. After it, your right to Share is confirmed and you can move to Stage 2 — where we learn to select creators.
