Stage 2 — Finding Good CreatorsMust

Profile of a good creator: 8 selection signals

Profile of a good creator: 8 selection signals

Given the new pay model rewards posting cadence, the 8 signals are re-weighted around one question: will this creator publish 3 posts in Month 1 and their content plan (full or half) after that?

The 8 signals

1) Category = women's fashion (hard filter). 2) Followers ≥ 5k (hard filter). 3) Engagement 2–3%+ on last 10 posts (hard filter). 4) Post cadence ≥ 3/week already. 5) India-based. 6) Business account. 7) Uses a repeatable review/try-on format. 8) Replies to comments (signals real audience).

The two heaviest

Post cadence and engagement rate. Under the new model these two predict whether the creator will hit Month 1 activation and stay on the plan. If either is weak, don't invest DM time — no matter how large the following.

How to read cadence fast

Open the profile grid, count posts in the last 30 days. 12+ posts = strong candidate for 5/month. 6–11 = borderline, needs a nudge. <6 = will likely stall at Month 1.

How to read engagement fast

Last 6 posts, average likes + comments, divide by followers. 2%+ passes. Watch for one viral outlier — median is more honest than mean here.

Key takeaway: Category + followers + engagement + cadence are the four gates. All 8 signals matter but the pay model punishes weak cadence and engagement above everything else.

Next step: Run 5 short-listed creators through the 8 signals. Note where you'd drop each one — that's the friction to remove.
