The new pay model is more sensitive to fraud than the old one, because posts (not sales) trigger payouts. Any attempt to game the plan-completion counter or the 5+ posts rule is caught by the ops team and results in immediate program removal.

Self-invitation

You cannot refer yourself, your family Instagram accounts, or accounts you operate. Any account that signs up on your ref link is checked against your dashboard email, phone, and payout details. Detected self-invites reverse all payouts and remove you from the program.

Fake referrals

Signing up placeholder accounts that never post, or coordinating with a fake creator to publish empty "review" posts that don't feature the assigned product. Automated content checks and manual reviews catch this. Result: forfeited earnings + removal.

Post-farming to game plan completion or 5+ posts

Encouraging a creator to publish half-hearted posts and stories just to check the full-plan (20+20) or half-plan (10+10) boxes in Months 2 & 3, or to hit the 5+ posts rule for Month 4+ rev share. Detected via content quality signals and engagement anomalies. Result: creator loses their tier payout for that month, you lose the payout and get a warning.

Poaching

Recruiting a creator who is already active on Trendweave via a different talent manager. Attribution goes to the first talent manager on record — later attempts are ignored, and repeated poaching is a program violation.

Identity misrepresentation

Claiming to represent Trendweave beyond your talent manager scope, using unauthorised brand assets, or promising creators things outside the published pay model. Zero-tolerance.
