Content planning: a 7-day template

Content planning: a 7-day template

Stage 2 is about rhythm, not inspiration. A Stage 1 creator posts when 'I'm in the mood'; a Stage 2 creator posts on a plan. Not '5 posts a week mandatory' — but: you know what's going out and when before the week starts. That removes 80% of stress and lifts CR, because you stop shooting 'just to post something'.

The base rhythm for Stage 2

Three shoppable posts a week is the median for creators who reach a stable ₹5K+/month. Not more, or you burn out; not less, or the Instagram algorithm 'cools' on your account. Three posts = three products = three shoot days minimum — planned ahead, not on the fly.

The weekly template

A simple table with columns: date · product · hook type (problem/curiosity/stat — Lesson 10) · cover idea · CTA · publish time. Store it wherever — Google Sheets, Notion, a paper notebook. Trendweave doesn't have a built-in Planner: this is an external tool you use to plan, then publish into Trendweave one post at a time.

Hook it to festive/sale windows

Every Monday, check what's coming in 2–3 weeks: Diwali, EOSS Myntra, Independence Day sale. If a festive window opens, all three of this week's posts should aim at it, not at random products. The window works 7–10 days; miss it and you lose the highest-converting week of the quarter.

What to do if content isn't flowing

Don't publish a weak post just for the rhythm — skip the day and publish in the next planned slot. The Instagram algorithm punishes a bad post in feed more than a quiet day. If three weeks in a row aren't flowing, that's a signal to revisit your niche or products (Lesson 12), not to grind harder.

Key takeaway: A 7-day plan removes stress and raises quality. Without a plan, weekly CR swings 200%; with a plan, it swings 30–40%, which is far easier to optimise.

Next step: Build a simple table for this week — three posts, three products, three hooks. Publish on plan. End of week — go back to Lesson 14 and compare numbers.
