What counts as an activation
In the Scout Program, activation is the specific event after which you start earning. Not 'the creator registered' and not 'the creator connected Instagram', but the first sale they generate in Trendweave. Until that first sale, the creator you brought means nothing yet for your earnings.
What happens at the moment of activation
When the creator you brought closes their first purchase through a Trendweave link, `₹500` fix bonus lands on your account immediately. This bonus goes into hold status — it's yours, but not yet available for withdrawal.
The double trigger to unfreeze
The ₹500 fix becomes available for withdrawal only when that same creator generates `₹500` of Net Revenue for Trendweave. So the bonus 'pays for itself' through the creator's success. This is designed so scouts bring real, active people, not 'registered and forgot'. The logic is fair: the platform pays the scout once the creator has started bringing in.
What happens after the unfreeze
Once the creator crosses the ₹500 Net Revenue threshold, two things change. First: the ₹500 fix drops into Available, and you can withdraw it (if your total available is ≥ ₹2,000). Second: revenue share kicks in — 5% of Net Revenue from every following sale by that creator. That's a long-term stream, 12 months by default.
Creator statuses in the dashboard
Registration complete — the creator registered but isn't activated yet (no first sale). Active — the creator is activated, actively generating sales, your revenue share is dripping in. Period ended — the 12-month default term has expired; revenue share is no longer credited for that creator unless there was an individual extension.
What does NOT count as activation
A registration without a purchase. A single click without a purchase. A creator who registered and disappeared for a month. A self-purchase through your own referral code (anti-fraud flag — Lesson 7).
