Stage 1 — Understanding the SystemMust+

How your ₹500 fix is held and released

The most common question from new scouts: "I got a creator to sign up — where's my money?" Here's how it actually works.

The two-trigger system

When a creator registers using your link, your ₹500 fix is created but frozen — it shows as "on hold" in your dashboard.

The fix only releases when both of these happen:

- ✅ The creator makes their first sale on Trendweave
- ✅ That sale crosses the ₹500 Net Revenue threshold

Until both conditions are met, the money stays in hold. This is by design — it ensures scouts are incentivised to help creators actually activate, not just sign up.

What "on hold" means in your dashboard

On hold — creator registered, but no first sale yet.
Ready to withdraw — both conditions met; you can withdraw.

What to do when a fix stays on hold

1. Check if the creator has posted any content.
2. If not, go to the *"Creator joined but never posted"* lesson for the exact steps.
3. If they posted but haven't sold — check their content quality and product-link setup.

Common misconception

❌ "The ₹500 is mine as soon as they sign up."
✅ The ₹500 is assigned to you when they sign up, but only released after their first sale + ₹500 Net Revenue threshold.

This is why activation support (Stage 4) directly affects your earnings.

Key takeaway: The ₹500 fix is yours from the moment a creator registers — but it only unlocks after their first sale crosses ₹500 Net Revenue. Activation support isn't optional; it's what turns hold into payout.

Next step: Open your Scout dashboard and look at the hold vs. ready-to-withdraw split. Then continue to Lesson 05 — Scout economics in detail.
